Retreat Terms and Policies

Please read carefully before registering.

1. EVENT CANCELLATION

In the rare event that Gate Gate Retreat must be canceled by the organizers, participants will receive a full refund of retreat payments made directly to Gate Gate Retreat.

Gate Gate Retreat is not responsible for airfare, transportation, accommodation outside the retreat venue, travel changes, or any other expenses incurred by participants.

2. PAYMENT & TRANSFER POLICY

All deposits and payments are non-refundable.

If a participant is unable to attend, they may transfer their reservation to another approved participant with written notice to the Gate Gate team.

Payments may not be transferred to future retreats, programs, services, or events.

3. TRAVEL & MEDICAL INSURANCE

Participants are strongly encouraged to obtain adequate travel, medical, and cancellation insurance to protect themselves in the event of illness, injury, travel disruptions, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.

4. ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE

Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the retreat unless otherwise specified by Gate Gate Retreat.

Detailed arrival instructions, schedules, and logistics will be provided before the retreat.

5. RETREAT SCHEDULE

Participants agree to arrive on time and remain for the full duration of the retreat experience whenever possible in order to preserve the integrity of the group process.

6. PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Participation in Gate Gate Retreat is voluntary.

Each participant accepts full responsibility for their physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being during and after the retreat.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings, actions, decisions, and safety throughout the retreat.

7. ALCOHOL, DRUGS & SUBSTANCES

The use of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any consciousness-altering substances not provided or approved by the retreat facilitators is strictly prohibited during the retreat.

Participants agree to disclose all medications, supplements, and relevant health conditions during the application process.

Failure to disclose relevant medical or psychological information may result in removal from the retreat without refund.

8. PARTICIPANT COMMITMENT & PREPARATION

By attending Gate Gate Retreat, participants acknowledge and agree that:

• They will attend all mandatory preparation classes, orientation calls, and pre-retreat sessions.

• They understand that preparation is an essential part of the retreat process.

• They are physically, emotionally, psychologically, and spiritually prepared to participate in a psilocybin-assisted healing experience.

• They have fully disclosed all relevant medical, psychiatric, and medication information.

• They agree to follow all preparation guidelines provided by Gate Gate Retreat, including dietary recommendations, medication protocols, journaling exercises, lifestyle adjustments, and other preparation instructions.

• They understand that the quality and safety of their experience depends largely upon their personal preparation and commitment.

9. CONFIDENTIALITY & SACRED SPACE

Gate Gate Retreat is founded on trust, vulnerability, healing, and personal transformation.

Participants agree to:

• Respect the privacy and confidentiality of all participants.

• Refrain from sharing personal stories, experiences, medical information, or emotional processes disclosed by others during the retreat.

• Obtain permission before taking photographs, videos, or posting content involving other participants.

• Contribute to a respectful, supportive, compassionate, and non-judgmental environment.

10. VENUE RESPECT & PROPERTY CARE

Gate Gate Retreat is hosted at Casa Campo Homestead, a private property entrusted to our community.

Participants agree to:

• Respect all accommodations, ceremonial spaces, gardens, spa facilities, walking paths, and common areas.

• Refrain from smoking, vaping, candles, incense, fireworks, or open flames except in designated areas approved by the venue.

• Not bring weapons, illegal substances, or unauthorized animals onto the property.

• Use furniture, linens, equipment, and facilities responsibly.

• Respect quiet hours and maintain a peaceful atmosphere.

• Follow all safety instructions related to pools, cold plunges, spa facilities, fire pits, walking trails, and outdoor spaces.

• Respect wildlife, agricultural areas, gardens, and natural ecosystems.

Any participant who causes damage, creates unsafe conditions, disrupts the experience of others, or violates venue policies may be asked to leave without refund and may be responsible for any damages incurred.

11. CONFLICT & COMMUNITY STANDARDS

We are committed to creating a safe, sacred, and transformative environment.

Gate Gate Retreat reserves the right to respectfully remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, aggressive, unsafe, disrespectful, discriminatory, or harmful to the well-being of the group.

No refunds will be issued in such cases.

12. ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

Participants understand that Gate Gate Retreat may involve physical movement, breathwork, meditation, emotional processing, cold and heat exposure, nature-based activities, wellness practices, and psilocybin-assisted experiences.

Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation.

By attending, participants release and hold harmless Gate Gate Retreat, its founders, facilitators, staff, contractors, venue owners, practitioners, volunteers, and affiliates from any claims, injuries, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from participation, except where prohibited by law.

13. INTEGRATION RESPONSIBILITY

Participants acknowledge that personal transformation requires ongoing integration and personal responsibility after the retreat.

Gate Gate Retreat provides support, education, and guidance but does not guarantee specific outcomes, results, or therapeutic benefits.

Participants are responsible for integrating their experiences into their daily lives and seeking additional professional support when necessary.

14. AGREEMENT

By registering for Gate Gate Retreat, submitting payment, and attending the retreat, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to all policies, preparation requirements, venue guidelines, liability waivers, and participant responsibilities outlined above.
